Kibeo Moerplein Yerseke

Het was de week van de veiligheid deze week. Bij kibeo hebben wij natuurlijk heel veel dingen rondom “veiligheid”. Zo hebben wij bijvoorbeeld het beleid veilig slapen, inspecteren we of al het speelgoed binnen en buiten veilig is, controleren we onze verbanddozen regelmatig en hebben we een vluchtplan. Dit vluchtplan hebben we deze week geoefend. We gingen ontruimen. Alle kinderen verzamelen op de verzamelplaats, daarna liepen we door naar ons noodadres moerzicht. We deden alle benodigde stappen en gingen weer terug naar onze groep. Zo blijven we allemaal op de hoogte van hoe het in de praktijk gaat.

We werken al een aantal weken aan het thema (huis)dieren🐱🐹 Op de babygroep bekijken ze de dieren en bespreken welke geluiden deze dieren maken. Bij de peuters maken we het een stapje moeilijker en kijken we zelfs wat de dieren eten. We verven zelf vissen op de babygroep en op de peutergroep denken we na over wat er allemaal in een vissenkom zit plantjes, water en ohja vissen horen er ook in!😅 We vangen vissen met een hengel en spelen met de vissen in het water (scheerschuim).🐠 Ook zoeken de peuters de konijnen familie terug bij elkaar, geel bij geel en blauw bij blauw. We plakken onze eigen kip en knutselen een hond voor in het hondenhok.🐔🐶 Ons volgende thema wordt “de supermarkt” wat over 2 weken begint.

Easter is coming again!🐣 We have already worked on the Easter theme last week and we will continue to work on it next week. This week we made our own Easter egg, tearing pieces of paper ourselves and sticking them on the egg. This is good for fine motor skills. We have also played several educational games. We looked to see where the chick was. Is he in front, behind, next to or under the egg?🤷🏽‍♀️We also looked for the chicken's eggs because they were hidden in our group. The chicken spontaneously lost its feathers due to the stress of the lost eggs😱. We helped the chicken get its feathers back and rolled its eggs back into the chicken coop. Thanks to our help, the chicken was able to continue breeding peacefully again.💪🏽

Did you know that children learn a lot through imitation and copying behavior. They watch what adults do or say and include this in their play. Here you see a nice example. We practiced the colors and also stimulated the language. Later that day we see two toddlers doing exactly the same thing.😅

Our exhibition is open!🧑🏼‍🎨 Over the past few weeks we have been working on the theme of “art” in all groups and what could be more fun than turning our own works of art into an exhibition?🤩 This week, all parents/guardians are welcome to attend during Bring or pick up a moment to admire the works of art by the kibeo artists!😍(In the hall) We made this video so that our Facebook friends can also enjoy all the beautiful works of art.🥳

“I am an artist”👩🏾‍🎨🎨 We transformed ourselves into a real artist.😍 The children were allowed to name the colors. We also showed what color it becomes when you mix 2 colors together. In this way the children learn the colors in a playful way.

Friends week🥰 At Kibeo we see new friendships arise every day. By making friends, children learn to share, play together and take others into account. To involve the theme of art, we all painted our own friend and eventually turned it into a Mondriaan painting.🤩

Puk has been transformed into a real artist and we work with him on the theme of art.🧑🏼‍🎨 First we feel and see what Puk has brought with him in his suitcase. We see sandpaper, which feels hard!😱He also brought several soft brushes and rollers and all kinds of other materials to feel and try out. Then we looked at ourselves in the mirror.🪞Where is my nose? And where has Puk's nose gone? After we look at this, we will draw our own self-portrait. We read a lot of books. In one of our books we learn about mixing colors. We will of course try this out ourselves. We also tinker around. We make our own color palette, just cut and paste.🎨 In the baby group they discover a Miffy coloring page with a brush and paint. And we all play fun games again. In short, we work on all areas of development in many fun ways!😍
