Due to the developments surrounding the corona virus, the Piccolino Film Concert will be canceled on April 1.


The Piccolino Film Concert is a short film of ten traditional children's songs, with live music, scent and taste. The eyes of the little spectators go to the screen, a virtual world, but the ears hear live music, and in addition the other senses are also engaged to allow the children to experience the film even more. A fun and educational music theater performance for children from 6 months to 6 years old, to be seen on Wednesday 1 April in theater de Mythe in Goes.

About the Piccolino Film Concert

A caterpillar of green clay crawls out of a mushroom and immediately sets off on an adventure. On the way he comes across one nursery rhyme after another, in all kinds of languages: Spanish, Italian, English and Dutch. The musical duo Canti Vaganti provides the special stop-motion film Piccolino live with music, scents and other sensations!

On Wednesday April 1, 2020, the Piccolino Film Concert can be seen in theater de Mythe in Goes. The performance is suitable for children from 6 months to 6 years old and their parents. The first performance starts at 2.30 PM and the second performance at 4.30 PM. The performance lasts approximately 50 minutes. You can visit a performance for € 2.50 per person.

Collaboration in the context of the Media Ukki Days

This performance was realized through a collaboration of the Oosterschelde Library, Theater de Mythe, Podium 't Beest, KCE Oosterschelderegio, the Zeeland Youth Theater School, Kibeo and the Municipality of Goes. The performance is organized as part of the Media Ukki Days. The Media Ukki Days is a national campaign that draws attention to the media literacy of children aged 0 to 6 years. During this week, events are organized where children can work with media in a safe and fun way.

Canti Vaganti

Canti Vaganti makes musical theater in which live music, experience theater and humor come together. Direct contact with the audience, by appealing to as many senses as possible (not only seeing and hearing, but also smelling, feeling and sometimes even tasting) is an essential element in all their productions. The duo consists of the Dutch Kateleine van der Maas and the Italian Bruno Gullo. With their Piccolino Film Concert for toddlers and pre-schoolers, they travel to theaters throughout Spain and the Netherlands.
