A flying start for your toddler
Your toddler learns a lot through play at Kibeo. Your child can play nice and protected and is challenged to learn new things. Almost all childcare centers work with Toddler Start, certified programs that stimulate your child's development.
When your child comes to Kibeo, he or she will quickly make a new friend; Puk or (at a number of locations) Bas. Puk and Bas are dolls that belong to Toddler Start and experience all kinds of recognizable, fun and exciting things together with your toddler.

Developing with natural materials
As a new world explorer, there is a lot to do for your little one at Wiedewei! We are outside as much as possible all year round. In the autumn you can splash around in large rain puddles and in the summer you can build sand castles and roll in the grass. (Almost) nothing is too crazy and getting dirty is allowed!
At Wiedewei we stimulate your child's development with the certified VVE program Uk & Puk and with the green friend Spruit. Together with Spruit, your child will experience the most beautiful adventures and attention will be paid to nature, sustainability, language development, motor skills, creativity, social and personal skills.
We stimulate your child in a playful, but safe way. This creates interaction. In this way, in addition to the daily activities, attention is paid to the overall development of your child in an accessible way.

Toddler care with the Bible as a basis
With the Bible as a basis, your child will discover, together with peers, the talents he or she has received from God. Using the 'Bas in de classroom' method, we stimulate your child's growth in the areas of language, arithmetic, motor and social-emotional skills. A good preparation for primary school.
Through the activities that your toddler does within Bas's themes, he or she will become acquainted with concepts such as: big and small, close and far, above and below, next to and in. With the songs we sing together, your toddler will learn the Biblical message in a simple way. We also stimulate speech and language development. With children's songs, your toddler will learn to count, make friends, share and wait for their turn. We use movement based on music for physical development.
Childcare Allowance
If you and your partner both work or study, you are often eligible for childcare allowance. This is a contribution towards the costs of childcare. You sometimes get back up to 70% of the costs. How much allowance you receive depends on your income, the number of hours you work and the number of children for whom you need childcare. The rates at Kibeo are gross rates, on which you will receive childcare allowance. If we talk about net costs, the childcare allowance has been deducted from this.

Municipal allowance for toddler care
The government considers it very important that all toddlers have the opportunity to go to day care with peers. This is good for your child's development, because here your toddler makes friends, learns to count, sing songs and much more! This way, your child will be well prepared for primary school when he or she turns 4 years old.
To encourage this even more, some municipalities will help you with the costs of day care. This applies both to toddlers who need extra support and to parents who are not entitled to childcare allowance and therefore pay a monthly parental contribution.
