Additional scheme in addition to childcare allowance?
The municipality considers it very important that your toddler has the opportunity to develop in a playful way, which is why they meet the costs for toddler care.
If you choose the 'Toddler Care' package, you will receive discount on the gross hourly rate. You then pay €12.07 gross per hour.
The discount only applies for a purchase of 40 weeks, 2 half-days of 4 hours per week.
In some cases, the municipality of Delft offers additional support to:
1. Special assistance
The conditions for this reimbursement are:
- You receive benefits or have a low income, or there are special circumstances.
- Your net monthly income is no higher than €2,056 if you are married or cohabiting, or €1,439 if you are a single parent.

Indication from the GGD?
Have you been advised by the GGD to send your toddler to childcare for extra support regarding language and/or social development? Then you will receive an additional contribution from the municipality (Delft) towards your childcare costs if your child attends the toddler group for 16 hours per week, spread over 4 sessions of 4 hours each. The municipality pays for the 16 hours. 5 hours, so these are free for you. For the remaining 11 hours, you pay the rate of €12.07 gross per hour.
The GGD also sends the advice to us. We will contact you to discuss the possibilities.
Requirements:
- You have one for this indication received from the GGD
- Your baby is already coming 2 paid half days to the shelter
- Your toddler is 2.5 years old
