Additional scheme in addition to childcare allowance?
In some cases, the municipality of Den Haag offers additional support.
Childcare allowance:
- The additional reimbursement from the municipality is 4% of the childcare hourly rate (as applied by the Tax and Customs Administration).
The conditions for these schemes are:
- You receive social assistance benefits
- You are following a program with the municipality to find work.
- You must submit an application to the municipality within 2 months of signing the childcare agreement.

Indication of the CJG?
Have you been advised by the CJG to send your toddler to childcare for extra support regarding language and/or social development? Then your childcare costs will be complete reimbursed by the municipality Den Haag.
The CJG is also sending the advice to us. We will contact you to discuss the options.
Requirements:
- You have one for this indication received from the CJG
- Your toddler is 2.5 years old
- Your child attends for a maximum of 4 half-days of 4 hours per week, 40 weeks per year.
