Parent contribution

The municipality considers it very important that your toddler has the opportunity to develop through play, so they offer a contribution towards the costs of toddler care. You pay a monthly parental contribution based on a gross hourly rate of €12.34. The amount of this contribution is based on your income. tabel see what your monthly parental contribution will be.

If we do not know your income, you will automatically fall under the highest rate for the parental contribution. Make sure you don't pay too much, mail a completed one Income statement (formerly IB60 form) to [email protected].

 

In sommige gevallen, biedt de gemeente Den Haag extra ondersteuning aan: 

Ooievaarspas
Ben je in het bezit van een Ooievaarspas? Dan vergoedt de gemeente je kosten voor kinderopvang tot aan het maximum te vergoeden uurtarief van de Belastingdienst In 2026 is dit tarief vastgesteld op €11,23. Dit betekent dat je voor de opvang van je peuter een eigen bijdrage van € 1,11 per uur betaalt. De overige opvangkosten worden door de gemeente betaald.

The conditions for this scheme are:

  • Je bent in het bezit van een Ooievaarspas
  • Your toddler is 2.5 years old
  • Je peuter komt per week 2 dagdelen van 4 uur naar de opvang

Vergoeding kinderopvang

  • The additional reimbursement from the municipality is 4% of the childcare hourly rate (as applied by the Tax and Customs Administration).

The conditions for this scheme are:

  • You receive social assistance benefits
  • You are following a program with the municipality to find work.
  • You must submit an application to the municipality within 2 months of signing the childcare agreement.

Indication of the CJG?

Have you been advised by the CJG to send your toddler to childcare for extra support regarding language and/or social development? Then your childcare costs will be complete reimbursed by the municipality Den Haag.

Requirements:

  • You have one for this indication gekregen vanuit het CJG of de GGD
  • Your toddler is 2.5 years old
  • Your child attends for a maximum of 4 half-days of 4 hours per week, 40 weeks per year.
