A construction worker with surprising tricks, a festive handover of the keys, and many curious visitors: on Friday, September 25, Kindcentrum De Stuifhoek celebrated the opening of the new building at Made. Under a radiant sun, children, parents, staff, local residents, and invited guests gathered to celebrate this special moment.

A surprising handover of the keys

‘'Construction Worker Bert' took the children and other attendees through a program full of tricks and surprises. He worked his way up to the official opening moment: the handing over of the key. The children watched enthusiastically and visibly enjoyed the performance.

School Principal Hanneke Meulblok spoke during the program on behalf of the school and Kibeo. Branch Manager Janine Kruithof and Label Director Miranda Donkers-ten Have were also present on behalf of Kibeo to celebrate this special milestone together.

Plenty of interest in the new building

After the official part, the doors of Kindcentrum De Stuifhoek opened. Parents, local residents, and other interested parties had the opportunity to view the new building from the inside. More and more visitors walked inside out of curiosity. The enthusiastic children, the great interest, and the beautiful weather created a cheerful and festive atmosphere.

One trusted place for children

With the new Kindcentrum De Stuifhoek, Made has gained a pleasant, future-oriented location where childcare and education come together. This connection is also reflected in the building's interior design. The curved walls create a fluid layout and encourage movement and interaction.

The open learning area forms an important link between childcare and education. Toddlers and preschoolers meet to do activities together. In this way, toddlers gradually become familiar with the school, and the transition to kindergarten will feel very natural.

The pedagogical professionals and teachers are in regular contact and share their knowledge and experiences. Together, they ensure a continuous developmental trajectory, allowing children to develop in a familiar environment. They know where a child's talents lie and when extra support is needed. For children, a single, recognizable environment is created in which they can play, learn, discover, and grow. Parents find a trusted place close to home where they can leave their child with peace of mind.
