Freya is almost 1 and has been going to two half-days a week since she was 3 months old. Kibeo It ShareMom Lydia and Dad Christiaan would love to tell you how they experience that as parents.
“We were already somewhat familiar with Kibeo 't Saamdeel through my sister-in-law and brother-in-law. Their son also went to this daycare a few years ago, and we always heard positive stories about it. What is also nice is the central location of this branch. The daycare is located in the same building as the GGD, the primary school, and the library. Everything under one roof!” says Lydia.
After daycare, Freya falls asleep tired and content.
“Freya can’t talk yet, but when I pick her up from daycare, she smiles at me cheerfully. She has a world of toys at daycare and meets many other children her age. We believe that she is developing much more broadly now than she would if she didn’t go to daycare. At daycare, she is always happily occupied, which means she gets tired quickly when she gets home and sleeps well.”
Childcare workers with a big heart for babies and children
't Saamdeel is a lovely location with good facilities, such as a good sleeping area and well-maintained play areas. The staff are also very approachable and have an incredibly big heart for babies and children. You can tell. They are open in their communication about Freya's development and offer her plenty of learning and play opportunities.
Another plus is the parent portal. It feels like a luxury to be able to read what Freya is doing and experiencing at daycare. And with photos included, too!
