Bringing your child to daycare for the first time can be quite exciting! It can therefore be nice to hear how other parents experience this. Jacob tells you about his experience with childcare at Kibeo Achterdorp in Dirksland, where his son Jonah plays.
“Since September 1 last year, Jonah goes to childcare at Kibeo Achterdorp in Dirksland 2 days a week. The new and modern look of the building felt good to us and was the deciding factor in choosing this location.”
Childcare good for development
“Beforehand I thought it would be good if Jonah went to daycare, because it is good for his development to play with other children. Now that he's going there, we have that experience too. Jonah does many different activities at the shelter that stimulate his development in a playful way, for example painting or learning to eat with a fork. It's also nice that Jonah is with peers he can play with. He also learns a lot from this.”

“Via the parent app 'My Kibeo' we can see what Jonah is doing. Especially the photos are very nice to see. Jonah is very nice and cozy at the shelter. You always see him smiling in the pictures!”
