Transport between primary school and Kibeo
Kibeo believes it's important to care for children in their own neighborhood. Therefore, after-school care is often located at or near the school. If care at the school or at a Wiedewei location isn't possible, Kibeo can often arrange transportation.
The basic principles for transport are:
- Transport only takes place on fixed transport routes
- We always choose the safest route, this is not deviated from
- Transport only takes place from our own working area, children are not picked up in areas where Kibeo is not located
- In principle, no transport of children takes place in the morning (VSO only at locations near/in school)
- Transport is cost effective
- The transport costs are fixed costs. Refunds for unused transport will not be made.
- The provisions of the Kibeo Childcare Facilities Regulations apply to transport.

For a transport journey, the rate is €5.86 per journey per child.
