Parent contribution
The municipality considers it very important that your toddler has the opportunity to develop through play, so they offer a contribution towards the costs of toddler care. You pay a monthly parental contribution based on a gross hourly rate of €11.23. The amount of this contribution is based on your income. tabel see what your monthly parental contribution will be.

1. Special assistance
The conditions for this reimbursement are:
- You have a minimum income and equity
2. Individual income supplement
The conditions for this reimbursement are:
- You have a long-term low income and little capital
3. Social medical indication
The conditions for this reimbursement are:
- You cannot take care of your child(ren) for social and/or medical reasons and you therefore need childcare + your income is lower than 120% of the social assistance standard
4. Stichting Leergeld
The conditions for this reimbursement are:
- Your income is lower than 120% of the social assistance standard
5. If you earn less than a maximum of €24,150 or if you are taking an integration course, you are eligible for a waiver scheme.
Indication from the GGD?
Have you been advised by the GGD to take your toddler to Kibeo for some extra support with regard to language and/or social development? Then it is possible in the municipality of Steenbergen to take a 3rd and 4th half day free to come. In addition, you will receive discount This applies to the first 6 paid hours of your first and second half-day, in addition to your childcare allowance. The remaining 2 hours of your first and second half-day are paid by the municipality, so they are free for you.
