Parent contribution

The municipality considers it very important that your toddler has the opportunity to develop through play, so they offer a contribution towards the costs of toddler care. You pay a monthly parental contribution based on a gross hourly rate of €12.34. The amount of this contribution is based on your income. tabel see what your monthly parental contribution will be.

If we do not know your income, you will automatically fall under the highest rate for the parental contribution. Make sure you don't pay too much, mail a completed one Income statement (formerly IB60 form) to [email protected].

In some cases, the municipality of Schouwen-Duiveland offers extra support: 

1. Special assistance allowance for necessary childcare.
The conditions for this special assistance allowance are:

  • Within your family has one person has a disability that makes childcare necessary (based on a social medical indication via the CJG)
  • For parents with an income lower than 110% of the social assistance standard.

2. Customization in the interests of the child/family
The conditions for this additional allowance are:

  • The local municipal access to Youth Services has determined that toddler care is in the best interest of your child/family.

Indication from the GGD?

Have you been advised by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) to take your toddler to Kibeo for extra support with language and/or social development? Then it is possible in the municipality of Schouwen-Duiveland for toddlers aged 2.5 to 4 years to take a 3rd and 4th half day free Toddlers aged 2 to 2.5 can also already use (some of) these free additional hours.

The GGD also sends the advice to us. We will contact you to discuss the possibilities.

Requirements:

  • You have one for this indication received from the GGD
  • Your baby is already coming 2 paid half days to the shelter

In some cases, the municipality of Schouwen-Duiveland offers extra support:

1. The 1st and 2nd half days may also be reimbursed (in addition to the 3rd and possibly 4th half days) via special file.

Conditions for this are:

  • For parents with an income lower than 110% of the social assistance standard.
  • The childcare allowance is necessary due to special social or financial circumstances.
  • One person in your family has a disability that makes childcare necessary (based on a social-medical indication via the CJG).
  • Or you follow a reintegration program.
