In the baby group the children can play with toys they knit themselves! There are different types of fruit and vegetables for the kitchen. The emotion cards have also been recreated. In this way, children learn to become acquainted with the emotions of happy, angry, sad and surprised.

Easter party at the IKC Kloetinge 🐣 Today we celebrated Easter. The toddlers played games in the school yard. The Easter Bunny came by and asked the toddlers to help look for the lost Easter eggs. 🐰🥚 The toddlers have also made beautiful coloring pages and crafts.🤩 The BSO children have also made beautiful coloring pages and crafts. On Schimmelpenninckstraat we are working on the theme: Have you seen an elephant? 🐘 Our theme cupboard for the children contains an entire elephant family. We also have pictures of the elephant from the book that the children can play with. Last week we glued pieces of paper to an elephant to stimulate fine motor skills and sensorimotor development. This week we look at the elephant family. Who is the smallest? And who is the biggest? We also regularly read the book and count from 1 to 10, because the boy in the book is going to look for the elephant.

Today we did “hand lettering” as an activity at the BSO. We were able to express our own creativity in this 🎨✍️

Elephants! 🐘🐘 Starting this week we started with a toddler university theme: 'Have you seen an elephant?' 👀 This theme focuses on elephants and hiding. In the book the boy plays hide and seek with the elephant. The elephant is clearly visible, but the boy really can't find it. Do the children see the elephants? Look closely! Because it is hidden in, under, behind or on an object. In this way the children also learn which localities there are. In the meantime, the children are having fun playing with the elephant cuddly toys they brought from home! How nice are they? 🤩

There's a knock at the door, loud knock, soft knock, who could that be?? Sinterklaas has brought presents to the Schimmelpenninckstraat. All children received a present. How spoiled we are!

We have been working on the Bon Appetit theme for almost 2 weeks now. We read from the books Food and Play and Dikke Dik Smack and Enjoy. The children can play with many types of fruit. We also mention these regularly while playing. Puk also enjoys a meal. A tasty sandwich with egg, cauliflower, pepper or carrot.
